The Frederick C Jones Young Musician Competition 2023

Founded in 1996, the Frederick C Jones Young Musician Competition is open to pupils within the borough Grade 5 and above.

Winner of the YMY 2023 , this is the third occasion that Rejus has been the winner of the competition , having previously been the winner in 2020 & 2021.

Rejus has studied with the CMS since Year 4 participating in  many concerts , he holds a Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music  Grade 8 distinction for Violin. Rejus has been a member of the London Symphony Orchestra East London Academy and held both Junior and Senior Scholarships with the London Music Fund. Following the completion of A level studies at Sydney Russell School Rejus has been offered a place at Trinity Laban in London to continue his study for a BMus.
