Song ideas with Miss Anna
I have a little heart
- Listen to the song and join in with actions.
- Draw a little heart for each member of your family. You can use different colours for each heart.
- Keep your picture if you would like to share it with Miss Anna when you see her next time.
Penguin song
- Join in with this action song.
- Draw a picture of you dressed up as a penguin.
- Remember to sing a song while drawing your picture.
- Keep your picture if you would like to share it with Miss Anna when you see her next time.
Wake up
- Listen to the song and join in with actions.
- Try to move to the beat of the music and sing along when you can.
- Practise this song every day. It is a good idea to make it a routine and practise before the school day starts, before lunch, at a tea time or before dinner.
Five A Day
- Listen to the song for the first time WITHOUT singing along.
- Play the song again. Join in, singing easy parts of the song.
- If you can, stop the song in different places and read the words of the verses, the chorus and the bridge.
- Play the song from the beginning and try to sing along.
- Can you think of different actions to add to the chorus “Hey, hey, five a day…”
- Learn to sing the whole song.
- Practise every day at least three times.
